The Journal of Engineering-Themed Environmental Tourism (JETET) maintains a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review process for all original research submissions. This ensures the technical validity, engineering integrity, and environmental sustainability of the works published under the ETET™ framework.
Initial Desk Review: All submissions are first screened by the Editor-in-Chief for alignment with the journal’s scope (Industrial Remediation, SIDS Logistics, and Astro-Engineering).
Double-Blind Assignment: Manuscripts that pass the desk review are assigned to at least two independent Technical Validators (Peer Reviewers). To ensure objectivity:
Reviewers do not know the identity of the authors.
Authors do not know the identity of the reviewers.
Evaluation Criteria: Reviewers evaluate submissions based on:
Technical Accuracy: Structural and mechanical soundness of proposed engineering solutions.
Environmental Impact: Adherence to sustainable remediation protocols.
Originality: Contribution to the ETET™ field.
Decision Tiers: Based on reviewer feedback, the Editorial Board reaches one of four decisions:
Accept: No changes required.
Minor Revision: Small technical or formatting adjustments.
Major Revision: Significant technical rework and a second round of review.
Reject: The submission does not meet the journal’s standards or scope.
Reviewers are required to disclose any conflicts of interest. JETET adheres to the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines regarding data integrity and plagiarism.
JETET strives to provide a first decision within 6–8 weeks of submission to ensure the timely dissemination of engineering innovations.
